In short: Scandora produces a DATEV EXTF file — the standard import format your tax advisor (Steuerberater) uses. Pick a profile and date range, fill in your DATEV numbers, review the booking rows, and export. DATEV export is coming soon on the Business / DATEV plan and is not available in this version yet.
What you need
- The Business / DATEV plan.
- Your DATEV consultant number (Berater-Nr.) and client number (Mandanten-Nr.) — ask your tax advisor if you don't have them.
- Documents captured in the profile you want to export, ideally already processed so amounts and dates are filled in.
Create the export
- Open DATEV export from the profile's export options.
- Profile: choose the profile whose documents you want to export.
- Date range: pick the from/to dates for the bookings to include.
- DATEV settings: enter the Berater and Mandant numbers, choose the chart of accounts (SKR03 or SKR04), and set the fiscal-year start (Wirtschaftsjahr-Beginn).
- Booking rows: tap Load from history to pre-fill rows from documents in the selected range, then review and adjust each row. You can also add rows manually.
- Tap Export. Scandora generates the EXTF file and opens it so you can save or share it.
Hand it to your tax advisor
Send the exported EXTF file to your Steuerberater (or import it yourself). It follows the DATEV EXTF import format, so it can be read into DATEV bookkeeping like any other EXTF file. Always review the booking rows before exporting — you are responsible for the accounts and amounts.
Good to know
- The chart of accounts (SKR03 vs SKR04) and the Berater/Mandant numbers must match what your advisor expects, or the import may be rejected.
- Scandora fills the export from your documents' extracted data — it does not give tax or accounting advice.
