Yes! Scandora's free plan includes private, offline on-device search of your scans, basic document management, one cloud integration, and watermarked exports. Paid plans are available now: Pro (€9.99/month or €89/year) adds a monthly AI-credit allowance, cloud integrations and priority support, and Business / DATEV (€24.99/month or €229/year) adds DATEV, lexoffice and sevDesk export designed for GoBD & DSGVO record-keeping. Prices are the final amounts charged via the App Store or Google Play.
Scandora is available on iOS, macOS, and Android. You can scan documents using your phone camera or connect professional scanners on desktop.
Privacy is built into Scandora's design. Your documents stay on your device by default, and on-device search is private and works offline. On Pro and above, if you opt in to AI document chat, an optional EU-resident search index (Frankfurt) stores derived text only — not your original files. Managed AI generation may be processed outside the EU (e.g. Google Gemini in the USA) under EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You stay in control of your data.
Yes! Scandora supports Bring Your Own AI (BYOAI). You can connect your Google Gemini API key to process documents using your own AI accounts, giving you full control over costs and data processing.
Scandora is built in Germany with GDPR (DSGVO) in mind. Your documents stay on your device by default, our servers run in the EU, and we don't embed third-party advertising trackers. For business use we provide an AVV / Data Processing Agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) you can read, download and sign.
No. Scanning, edge detection and on-device full-text search all work offline. You only need a connection when you sync a document to a cloud service like Trello or Google Drive, or when your chosen AI provider processes a scan.
Yes. On the Business / DATEV plan you can export your scanned receipts in DATEV format (an EXTF posting batch) together with the document images, plus lexoffice and sevDesk voucher export. It's designed for GoBD & DSGVO record-keeping for German SMBs and tax advisors.
